Combining Symantec’s reliable and well respected security utilities with their PC tune-up technologies, then throwing in some new antiphishing and backup tools and you’ve got one of the most complete and comprehensive pieces of security software available. The many features of this package include antivirus and antispyware, file protection and backup, fraudulent website detection, firewall and performance optimizing functions to keep your computer running at peak speeds. The performance optimizing utilities that are part of Symantec’s Norton 360 include the ability to find and fix problems that would cause your system to slow down. You can also clean the left over files from browsing the internet, such as cookies and temporary internet files. As this is such a complete package of utilities, it is not surprising that it takes up more hard drive space compared to other antivirus packages. This should not be too much of a problem though, especially considering the huge variety of tools that are available in the package.

If you are an internet user and are looking for a security program to keep your information safe and your system virus free as well as keep your computer’s performance optimized, you’ll most likely not find such a complete and reliable set of features in one package than with Norton 360.
