How can AntiVirus protect me?

Viruses can find their way into your computer without either your knowledge or your consent. Depending on the type of virus, they can do some serious damage to your system. They may try to spread themselves by sending spam emails to addresses in your system, change your system settings, corrupt important files so you can no longer access them, or even render your computer useless by reformatting your hard drive.

It will search your computer’s files, scanning for known viruses, securing emails, and generally ensure that your computer remains healthy and safe. Because of the new viruses that continuously emerge, Norton AntiVirus 2010 contains a tool called Live Update that makes sure that it is constantly aware of new viruses and protects you against all known infections.
